I was looking for a small portable speaker that would produce a good loud quality sound. And eBase Portable Mini Speakers, definitely fits this bill. I use it for cycling and pedestrian's can definitely hear me coming. It's going to be great to use at a picnic.
I was using the speaker at full volume with my ipod watch and it last just over 2-3 hours, so I think if you use it at normal volume, then perhaps, it may last 5-6 hours before having to recharge it again?
I fully recommend it and it's the loudest mini portable speaker available on the market at a price with the voucher of £20, a bargain!!

THIS WAS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED MAINLY FOR USE WHEN WE GO AWAY. LOOKS GOOD, FEELS GOOD AND SOUNDS GREAT.

Very impressed! Small enough to carry around in my handbag, and when I can't annoy anyone, much more comfortable than earpieces! Like listening to talking books when doing up old houses. Makes a little iPhone into a BIG SOUND. Chuffed to bits with it!

They are very good speakers for the price. There is a much larger amount of good quality bass than normal from small portable speakers

Todate I've bought about three other speakers for my ipad2, none of which have had the sound of this little beast, plus its small enough for a pocket or handbag and seems to charge as its used. Love it.

I primarily wanted a small speaker to use with an mp3 Walkman while travelling and on holiday, but I've found myself using it with my laptop and BlackBerry too, due to the convenience. It's well packaged and nicely tactile to use, the sound is deep (it coped with some lively dub reggae at fairly high volume OK) and overall it's much more than I expected for the size. I'm not sure I would pay £50 for it, as it remains to be seen how robust it is under 'field conditions' - the connection lead seems a little flimsy and it looks as though it would be easy to accidentally switch on in a bag or pocket, due to the position of the on/off switch right on the end (hence not 5 stars). A bluetooth version would be superb.

A great purchase - I expected a good sound for the price, but was blown away by the quality of sound! I would certainly recommend this speaker for at the beach or for camping - SUPER!

The speakers were a present from my mum so I wasn't completely sure what to expect - all I could tell was that they were very small so maybe not that powerful! However, the speakers can play music at a remarkably loud volume with minimal distortion. The connecting wire fitted into the speaker to plug into your laptop/ipod etc is really nifty because it slots into the back of the speaker itself. The rechargeable batteries are an obvious plus too. My only complaint would be that the connecting wire of the appliance is very short, which is fine when using the speaker with an iPod but a tiny bit inconvenient with a laptop or computer sometimes. Other than that I absolutely love this product and would definitely recommend it.
